Graduate of Western Michigan University with BS and MA degrees.

Mr. Bryant taught in the Pontiac school system, Oakland University, Detroit College of Business, before pursuing a career in 1980 with Mr. Darryll Patterson and The Equitable Financial Service Companies.

N.Z. Bryant Jr. started in the insurance industry in 1980 with the Equitable Life. He was hired by his mentor Darryll Patterson, who was his district manager at that time. The experience of working together was so positive for them that in 1982, they decided to team up and formulate Patterson-Bryant Inc. N.Z. and his partner set industry records and spoke across the country from California to New Jersey regarding their success and how to achieve similar success.

In 1982, Darryll Patterson and N.Z. Bryant, formed Patterson-Bryant, Incorporated, a financial service company, specializing in employee benefits, estate planning, insurance, and executive compensation.

N.Z. has wrestled in three Olympic trials and has the honor of being on his Alma Mater, Western Michigan University's Wall of Distinction. He's listed in, Who's Who in the Midwest, Outstanding Young Man of America, Outstanding Young Man of Pontiac, and the Success Guide 2001.

2000 marked the involvement of a joint venture with P&B and Professional Auditing Services. The firm audits vendor relationships of companies with revenues of over $100,000,000.

2001, they started a home development company specializing in building affordable housing for moderate to low income families.

N.Z. also opened The Bryant House, a home for battered and abused women.

He's on the board of the Christian Business Network, and has an annual golf outing to help raise funds for Alternatives for Children and Families (an adoption agency for abused and neglected children).
